Little Spaces

A new thing that Emma was doing in March was hiding in small spaces - under tables, benches and in closets. She seems to like to hide and peek out at me.

Emma loves to read. She is frequently surrounding herself in books. She sits in her carseat flipping through pages. This is her favorite activity! She particularly loves touchy feely and pop-up books. She has a whole series of Pat the Bunny - but has mostly destroyed these.

Snow Trip

Our snow trip got cut short by yet another ear infection. But here is a little bit of Tahoe. I was too tired to snowboard. So while Patrick hit the slopes, I rested in the room, read and knitted. It was so quiet without our girl.

Our Birtthdays

All of our Birthdays are in the same month. Patrick and I celebrated by going out to dinner.

1st blankie

SO I decided that after she turned one, Emma could safely sleep with a blanket. I still had anxiety about is and had to turn back on the video monitor. However, she has survived this far. Here she is snuggled up under her owl birthday blanket.

Valentines

Patrick's sister was here visiting and we went to see Wicked in the city. It was awesome and we had some really good and fancy soul food. Here is Emma and Paul (her uncle) reading books. This is on of the few picture we took during their visit. Emma is really into kissing the characters in her books right now. She has this monster book that use to scare her because it is a pop-up, but now she smooches the monsters. She also feel asleep in her high chair for the first time during their visit.
