Today I got to go the pumpkin patch with one of my classes. This may have been my first hay ride in over ten years. We visited a farm practicing sustainable agriculture. The chickens, pigs and sheep were all eating left over squashes. Kind-of cool! I bought a sugar pumpkin, French pink pumpkin and gourd. I am determined to try to bake something out of these.
